It’s cool, it has character. The staff was very nice and towels were changed daily. The beds were very comfy.
The history of the hotel is interesting and the location is great. The room we had was a courtyard room and we loved it. Loved the atmosphere as you walk into the hotel and lobby!
I booked this room knowing it was small but had a balcony which was the main thing I wanted for a stay in New Orleans. It was perfect. Its historical and well kept! The ladies that cleaned the rooms (You get daily cleaning!) were so sweet, the front desk was very cordial. The room was clean, everything I needed was there. It was perfect! Do be prepared for the elevator that is very small and makes a lot of noise. I was pretty convinced there was a spirit in the attic pulling ropes to take us up haha. But in a building this old we are just thankful there is an elevator?
Location is great! The rooms are small but very atmospheric, cozy and clean. They have parking, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. But there is a limited number of places in the garage, so it's better to arrive ahead of check-in time.
The Hotel was perfectly situated in the Quarter, the rooms were clean and very comfortable!
Old charm and historical. The guy at the front dest had a lot of information on the hotels history and super nice. Everything was walking distance from the hotel.
Parking is cayotic. It is non existant anywhere close by. Long walk to park vehicle, but after all it's New Orleans.
Staff was helpful upon registration and when I left and the hotel is right across the street from a favorite bakery in the FQ. Furnishings are a bit worn, but for the price & location & overall ambiance it’s still a great choice.
Right in the Quarter but not in the thick of it so it was quiet at night. Quaint rooms, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice big courtyard in the middle.
